Trás-os-Montes is one of the oldest and most traditional olive oil-producing regions in Portugal and was one of the first in the country. What makes it special: the region is situated at a high altitude and has a harsh continental climate with cold winters and hot summers, resulting in olives with an intense, complex flavor. The olive oil here is known for its fruitiness, a slight bitterness, and a pleasant spiciness; ideal for lovers of oil with character.

Our olive oil from Trás-os-Montes is still harvested by hand in the traditional way by our family, and pressed in small stone mills (lagars). It doesn't get any purer than this!
